Auburn Cardiology Associates offers clinical cardiovascular services both outpatient in our office as well as continued cardiac care at Auburn Memorial Hospital. We work closely with the cardiovascular interventionalists at St. Joseph's Hospital, and Crouse Hospital for such procedures as coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy and coronary artery bypass surgery.

Cardiology:

  • Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Catherization
    Balloon Angioplasty, Atherectomy, Intra coronary stents
  • Peripheral Vascular Intervention
    Treatment of renal artery disease & extremity insufficiencies.
  • Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing
    New state of the art nuclear laboratory with Board Certified Nuclear Cardiologists.
  • Stress Testing
    Treadmill stress testing for diagnosis and prognosis of coronary artery disease and risk assessment performed in a controlled environment with monitoring by trained Nurses and Cardiologists.
  • Stress Echo's
    Stress test combined in the echocardiography for increased specificity and accuracy or coronary artery disease.
  • Echocardiograms
    State of the art echosonography performed by a registered echocardiographers; 2D, M-mode, Doppler and Color Doppler testing available. Our echocardiography laboratory accrediated by ACAEL.
  • Pacemaker Checks
    Scheduled pacemaker follow ups in our office or by phone. Pacemaker interrogation also done in our office.
  • Coumadin Monitoring
    Computerized, individualized blood monitoring for all our Coumadin patients with timely patient notification.
  • Lipid/Cholesterol Monitoring
    Includes monitoring cholesterol panels and adjusting medication for optimal risk reduction.
  • Holter Monitors
    24 hour Holter monitoring with summary by a Cardiologist.
  • Event Monitors
    30-60 day event recording for evaluation of infrequent episodes of palpitations or syncope.
  • Risk assessment for Cardiovascular disease.

Pulmonary:

  • Pulmonary function Testing
    Assessing the functional status of the lungs through a machine that records airflow and capacity. Screening for the presence of obstructive and restrictive disease. Evaluating the patient prior to surgery. Documenting the progression of pulmonary disease (restrictive or obstructive). Documenting the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention.
  • Pulse Oximetry Testing
    A special light clipped onto the finger or earlobe, can indirectly measure the amount of oxygen in the blood.

    Office Appointments

    • We accept new patients with a referral from their primary care physician.

    • When you visit our office please bring a list of your current medications and their dosages.

    • If you cannot keep your appointment, please try to notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

    Prescription Refills

    Please call during our office hours (8am-5pm) and allow 24-48 hours for processing (best times between 8am and noon).
